CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Learn about each of our class styles in the descriptions below. We welcome all levels of experience to each class we offer. Our teachers always do their best to offer modifications during the class so you can adjust your practice for what you need on any given day.

ATHLETIC RECOVERY

Whether you’re training for a sport, or just for life, this class is perfect for you and your body. Recover your muscles, achieve a quiet state of mind and body and have an immediate effect on heart rate, blood pressure, and brain activity.

FORT BARRE YOGA

A yoga class with ballet-inspired movements and dance-like sequencing utilizing low-impact exercises accompanied by lightweight resistance.

FORT LEVEL 1

Utilizing tools, props, and knowledgeable instructors, this is a great class to start your yoga journey or complement your already strong personal practice.

FORT LEVEL 2

This energetic class incorporates various movement flows, core work, flexibility drills, strengthening poses, and challenging balances on both your feet and hands.

FORT MAT PILATES

This class consists of controlled, precise movements exploring our core musculature. Using Pilates props and our mats, we lengthen, strengthen and stretch with an emphasis on postural muscles and positioning.

FORT SCULPT

Yoga poses and balances are amped up with rounds of long holds, flexibility drills and weights to challenge your stamina and help you get stronger.

MOVEMENT & MOBILITY

 

This slower-flowing class will give you the tools to aid in injury prevention, circulation, stress relief, and movement efficiency.

WEEKEND WORKSHOP

A series of rotating workshops with classes taught by our amazing, knowledgeable, and certified instructors and teachers. Examples include Yoga 101, Meditation & Breathwork, and more!
